Personality
Well, let's think of the outcast. Then stuff a bit of shyness in there, and a mysterious past he can't remember, and add a dash of a crush on some un-obtainable girl. Paste it all together with crazy-glue, and add some duct tape [because everything's better with duct tape]. There ya go.

In a more detailed sense... Dominick's kept to himself, mostly because he finds it hard to remember himself. His earliest memory dates back to when he was twelve, when he had to learn how to read and write and relate to his family for what seemed like the first time. Manuel doesn't really talk to him much about life before that -- or why it seems like he learned nothing before that time.

Distinguishing Characteristics
Dominick has always kept his hair in a series of thick strings. Makes it look like dreadlocks sometimes. He works at the mechanic shop sixty hours a week, so when he's not there he keeps his jumpsuit tied around his waist.

Most of his smudged clothes / general appearance is attributed to the mechanic shop -- so he doesn't have to explain them to Manuel. In reality, he spends a good portion of his free-time racing his motorcycle in the "underground" races. He built the bike from scraps in his spare time over five years, so he's rather proud of it; but he'd never tell Manuel he even had a bike.

Author's mental notes
Dominick is my oldest and favorite character. I still have tattered notebooks full of stories about him from when I was ten or eleven. Consequently, he is also my most fully developed character... I think I've at one point calculated for every part of his life in Wicked Alchemy, from birth to now. Even a few of his past lives. ~.~

But I'm not obsessed. Really.
