"You punks really need to learn where you belong." The voice sounded metallic through the empty hallway, walls barren and plain compared to the decorated motifs of the more trafficked corridors. The back exit stood starkly at the end, creaking slightly on poorly-oiled hinges as John, the larger of two bouncers, shoved it open for their errant visitor.
"Yeah, you're lucky we don't call the cops on your ass," the smaller man sneered, hand snapping forward to shove the unwelcome guest through the open portal. "Now get moving."
With the same breath, he let out a tight gasp as the bones of his hand crunched beneath the pressure of the stranger's grasp. It didn't end there... He felt himself flying up and forward uncontrollably, staring at black sky and the tails of a brown duster as it whipped above him.
"Hey!!" John took a step forward, jerked off-balance as the man forced him farther into the alley. He flew backward as an elbow connected to his jaw.
