Explanation of Terms
DP - Damage Potential, usually expressed as an integer based on the average collective damage of one elemental [collective based on world-terms, not individual/personal damage].
Emotion - elementals can generally cause a singular emotional reaction [either positive or negative - each sphere has both] within the individual attuned to them. The reaction varies in degrees, based on the human's level of interaction and general susceptibility to that element. It is, for example, much easier for a fire mage to lose control of their anger than it is for most humans and other mages. Such emotional attachment is also seen in the natural spheres, although no satisfactory explanation has manifested.
Attribute - elemental attunement is widely accepted, in both human and mage alike, as an expression of particular attributes of human nature. This information is secondary at best, and merely provides limited insight into the degrees of elemental and natural persuasion of an individual.
Creatures - in some instances, entire races are derived from a single sphere. These creatures can exist both within that sphere and within the earth sphere [although to do so would usually be destructive to their natures and the earth].

While earth elementals are as potentially dangerous as fire elementals, study has
indicated that most earth elementals no longer exist in their truest states on the debilitated
planet. Alloys and man-made substances contain weak earth elementals that have proved
sluggish at best.

Because of their attunement, these mages can see all spirits and all elementals. They are
hard-pressed to manipulate the elementals as an elementally-attuned mage can do, and can
usually only elicit desired effects if the particular elementals are willing. Their spiritual attunement,
however, makes them more dangerous than an elemental one on an individual level: they have
the potential to bind a disembodied spirit, or even steal that spirit's energy and any gifts that spirit
might hold.

While the void is not typically an element, such creatures do exist that can carry souls to
and from bodies, or inhabit bodies once the souls have left. It is usually unwise to tap into
the realm of these beings, as they can easily manipulate and destroy the human mind/sanity.

Their potential lies elsewhere as well, but that point alone is enough to exercise caution.

Two forms of attunement have been noted in this field: they have been labeled the dream-walkers,
and the dream-weavers. Both have the ability to intrude on dreams, but the weavers seem to
be able to manipulate and even create dreams.

There seem to exist, similar to the aforementioned anomaly, two classes in this sphere: the
time-walkers and the time-weavers. Time-walking is a simple ability to displace oneself
outside the boundaries of time. Time-weaving is creating time - such a feat has not been
recorded, and must be noted as mere speculation.
